If they do not log back into their test within a 60 second period, a red (X) icon will appear next

Isograd T.S Basics
How credits work:
Isograd Testing Services offers two types of tests:
Standard tests (1 credit) use a predefined set of questions and are available in
multiple difficulty levels. All tests are available in Standard versions except coding
tests.
Premium tests (2 credits) (coding and adaptive tests). The difficulty level of the
Premium adaptive tests evolves during the test according to the responses of the
candidate. The Premium adaptive test provides more analysis into individual skill
gaps and comparison against desired skill outcomes. Group and progression
reports are included.
Expected Outcomes:
Expected Outcomes allow you to set expected outcomes for training/education course
outcomes.
You may set the expected levels of proficiency for specific digital skills, ensuring that you
can quickly identify qualified candidates.
Using Expected Outcomes for training or educational classes allows for pre-course
assessment ensuring that individuals are in the right course, and to create learning and
development roadmaps. Applying Expect Outcomes to testing enables you to validate if a
candidate achieves the learning outcomes from the course.
Expected Outcomes can be set on each of the four or five main skill domains that students
are assessed on.
From the main menu select Parameters then page click on Expected Outcomes and then
click the red Add a profile button.
To modify the expected level of a test’s sub-skills, on the line of the Profile that you would
like to edit, place your cursor over and click the edit icon to expose all of the avaiable
domains to edit.
3 steps: Create, Assign and Send
The actions explained below are described in detail in the ITS Manual.
1: Create Groups and Candidates
2: Assign a Test
3: Send a Test Invitation Email
Create Groups and Candidates:
Why creating a group?
Creating a group(s) allow you to segment your candidates by session, type of software,
period or for what makes sense to you. You can create as many groups you need, and you
can have several layers of groups such as main groups (level 1) and subgroups (level 2 and
3).
Go to the Account menu, then click on the Group tab and hit the Create Group Button.
You can now create and name your new group.
Once you have your new group, or if you want your candidates to be part of the default Main
Group, go to the Candidates menu.
Create a single candidate:
From the Candidate menu, click on Add a new candidate, specify your candidate’s gender,
last and first name, email address and either create a password of 6 characters minimum, or
let the system generate one. Make sure the group you want to add the student to is selected
from the top line Update option.
If a candidate requires additional time to complete their test(s) (due to an exceptionality,
IEP,vision issues…) you may add that additional time during the candidate creation process
or editing an existing candidate profile. The time you will add is in percentage, based on the
global test time.
Then click Save. You will automatically be redirected to your candidate's record. From there,
you may assign them one or multiple tests.
Create multiple candidates:
From the Candidate menu, click on Add multiple candidates, then click on Download
Excel file template from the popup window. You’ll then be able to fill out the template Excel
file with your candidates and to upload it from the same popup window. Make sure you select
the group(s) prior to uploading the file.
Assign a test:
Individually:
From the Candidates menu, select the edit icon to the right of the individual candidate that
you want to register to test. On the candidate record click the Register to a test button, then
the test assignment window will open. Select the language, subject and version you want to
assign to your candidate, then select either assessment or certification. If the registration is
for a certification exam, select the appropriate test session from the drop-down menu and
select Yes if the certification has to be taken remotely. Click on the Register button if you
want to add more than one test or Register and close if you need just one test.
To a Group:
Select a group from the scroll-down menu, then click on Group Actions and Register a
group for a test, then the test assignment window will open. Select the language, subject
and version you want to assign to your group, then the type of test, either an assessment or
a certification exam. If the registration is for a certification exam, select the appropriate test
session from the drop-down menu and select Yes if the certification exam has to be taken
remotely. Click on the Register button if you want to add more than one test and Register
and close if you need just one test.
Send a test invitation email:
Your candidate(s) have one or multiple tests assigned but they don't know it yet. So now
you'll have to invite them by email.
Individually:
Once you have navigated to a specific student record (you can get there by clicking the Edit
icon located on the right of your candidate’s name), click on Send a test invitation email to
candidate and the message details window will open. You may edit the subject line; which
email template you would like to use as well as to select which email account the email will
be sent from. You will be able to preview the content of the email that will be sent to your
candidate. This email includes the link to your candidate's account, their login credentials and
the assigned test(s).
Click on the Send button and the email will immediately be sent to your candidate.
To a Group:
Select the group from the scroll-down menu, then click on Group Actions; Send
registration emails to a group and the message details window opens. You may edit the
subject line, which email template you would like to use as well as select which email
account the email will be sent from. You will be able to preview the content of the email that
will be sent to your candidate. This email includes the link to your candidate's account, their
login credentials and the assigned test(s).
Click on the Send button and the emails will immediately be sent to each member of your
group.
